Align Puzzle - 3 in a Row: free puzzle app game for iphone, ipad

Align Puzzle - 3 In A Row app for iPhone        Align Puzzle - 3 In A Row app for iPhone

When's the last time you played a good game of Tic Tac Toe? I've seen numerous versions of it.

Align Puzzle - 3 in a Row comes from Adefemi Adeyemi. (interesting name!).

Play against a friend or against the computer. You place your 3 stones, the computer does its 3 stones. After that, you may slide one of your stones to an empty square by travelling along one of the lines.

Look at the second image. See the blue stone in the bottom row? It's trapped and cannot move. The blue stone in the upper right has only 1 possible move. While the blue stone in the middle has 2 options.

Align Puzzle 3 in a Row seems to combine Tic Tac Toe with Nine Men's Morris, which is another very old game that's actually very sophisticated. Do check that game out. Some versions of that have diagonal lines drawn at the corners, others do not.

Quruare Puzzle

iPhone Screenshot 1        iPhone Screenshot 2

Quruare Puzzle is a 'rotate the grid 90 degrees' type puzzle app. The objective is to get the blue robot to the light blue square.  The graphics are okay. A bit old school

There are 200 levels. The first 80 are free. However, one-fourth of the rest are free too. So, I was able to do 197, but not 198, 199 or 200. Never seen this before.
I've done about 20 levels. It's not terribly hard, but each level must be solved within a certain number of moves. Guessing will get you nowhere fast. Many levels require 10 steps or more. Memorizing the steps is a bit tricky because the grid of course rotates.
Quruare is great for young puzzlers.

Shoot & Reflect 3x3 NEON: free puzzle app game for iphone, ipad

Shoot & Reflect 3x3 NEON comes from Shu Ugajin. At first I thought it was another laser game. Yes and no.

The objective is to fire the ball from the bottom left corner to reach the big dot at the bottom right. The ball must pass through all of the panels, but not through the empty space.  Essentially, it's a combination of a sliding tile pile with a laser & fixed-in-panel mirrors.  Novel concept.

There are 20 levels.  If you look at the diagrams above, the first image is the puzzle, the second is the solution.
Some of the 20 levels I solved pretty quickly. Other levels were tough and I took a photo of them to solve them without the time constraint.  I did all 20 levels in about 1.5 hours.

The graphics could be a lot better. It'd be nice if there were no pop-up ads too. Still, I really liked these puzzles. But I'm glad there were only 20 levels.

The last photo shows my reward for solving all the levels.
